BRETT LEE

One of the fastest bowlers in the history of cricket and regarded by many as one of the best players of his generation, Brett played for cricket Australia for 14 years, until his retirement in 2012. Since then, a successful media career has further enhanced the profile established during his playing years.

While Brett is a household name in Australia and other cricketing nations, his following in India is remarkable. Highly visible because of his IPL commentary role –in which he broadcasts to audiences of over 600 million –Brett is arguably Australia’s most successful export to India.

Long a fan of Sydney Beer, Brett was approached regarding taking on an ambassador role in late 2022.  As discussions progressed, the role under discussion broadened.

Brett’s role now extends far beyond his duties as an ambassador.  He is actively engaged in the SBC business, and a significant shareholder.

Brett has been instrumental in securing a number of key, high value venues and leads our discussions with potential Indian partner brewers.
